Vision

The Lake Placid/North Elba region has evolved from a simple farming community to a world-class destination for sports, recreation, and the natural environment. The Society, together with close community partnerships, uses a dynamic museum and other educational solutions for preserving and interpreting local history and culture in order to ensure that the future has an anchor in the past.
